Aus Grass-Fed Whey Protein Concentrate
Much of the natural amino acid profile and immune boosting fractions retained in WPC are typically lost in other whey proteins forms. The full-spectrum of beneficial grass-fed dairy protein fractions has been shown to greatly aid detoxification and hormone synthesis.
Raw Cacao
The premium Australian Certified Organic raw cacao powder used in our blends is of the heirloom variety, Criollo, grown in Peru. It is a rich source of magnesium and sulphur which helps with relaxation and promotes healthy hair, skin and nails. Full of magnesium and antioxidants, raw cacao has 2865 ORAC units per serve.
Vanilla Beans
These orchid vines climb existing trees, poles or whatever they can find and produce deep green beans. When picked, they are quickly blanched in boiling water then set out to dry. Known for its mood enhancing properties and warm inviting aroma. Provides the blend with a delicious, crowd-pleasing taste! Our vanilla is the same A-grade beans that you will find in specialty cooking stores and delis.
Stevia Extract
High quality pure organic stevia provides just the right touch of sweetness without contributing unnecessary sugars to your waistline. Stevia is low GI and also has the added advantage of not feeding plaque on your teeth like sugar does.
Non-GMO sunflower lecithin (0.1% for mixing)
We include a tiny amount of non-GMO sunflower lecithin in our whey protein blends - 0.1%. It is an emulsifier that’s needed for mixing, and it keeps the whey powder from bricking when mixed with liquid.

Frequently Asked Questions About
Raw Cacao WPC
Raw Cacao Whey Protein Concentrate (WPC) is a smooth, easy-mix chocolate whey protein powder with a naturally creamy texture. This FAQ answers common questions about Raw Cacao WPC including taste, serving size, lactose intolerance, storage, the amino acid profile, and who it’s suitable for (training, weight management, or everyday nutrition). You’ll also find guidance on pregnancy/breastfeeding, kids, meal replacement use, and what to expect when ordering online.
Bare Blends Australian Whey Protein Concentrate (WPC) is made from high-quality Australian dairy, sourced from cows that are grass-fed and pasture-raised. Australia is known for strict food standards and excellent dairy production, which helps us deliver a clean-tasting, smooth-mixing whey protein concentrate you can rely on day after day.
Unlike some whey protein powders, our Australian WPC is sourced from milk produced without the use of artificial growth hormones such as rBST/rBGH. The result is a premium whey protein concentrate powder with a naturally creamy texture—ideal for shakes, smoothies, oats and baking.
Raw Cacao WPC tastes like a creamy, classic chocolate shake—rich cacao up front with a smooth, milky finish. Because it’s whey protein concentrate, it has a naturally fuller, creamier mouthfeel than an isolate, with a balanced sweetness and a real cocoa flavour (more “chocolate milk” than overly sweet dessert).
Whey Protein Concentrate (WPC) is typically creamier and contains slightly more naturally occurring carbs and fats than Whey Protein Isolate (WPI). If you want the most “lean” option, choose WPI—if you want a richer texture and flavour, WPC is the go-to.
Raw Cacao WPC contains more lactose than WPI, so it may not suit everyone with lactose intolerance. Many people with mild sensitivity can tolerate it, but if you’re highly sensitive, we recommend choosing a WPI or a plant protein instead.
Our Raw Cacao WPC contains no gluten ingredients, but it’s made in facilities where other ingredients may be handled. If you have coeliac disease or severe gluten sensitivity, check the label and reach out to us for the latest allergen info.
Yes - whey protein concentrate is a complete protein and naturally rich in essential amino acids, making it a great daily option to support training and recovery when paired with a balanced diet.
Raw Cacao WPC is a protein supplement, not a complete meal. For a more filling option, blend it with fruit, oats, nut butter, yoghurt, or milk to add carbs, fibre and healthy fats.
Mix it with water or milk, or add it to smoothies, oats, yoghurt, pancakes and baking. If you want extra creaminess, use milk (or a milk alternative) and blend.
If you order from the Bare Blends shop, we’ll ship your Raw Cacao WPC the same day (orders before 12pm) or the following morning. When you open it, you’ll notice a sweet chocolate aroma and a fine powder that blends into a smooth, creamy shake—perfect for everyday protein.
Whey protein is a food-based protein source, but needs vary. If you’re pregnant, breastfeeding, or buying for kids, we recommend checking with your healthcare professional—especially if there are allergies or dietary requirements.
No - Raw Cacao WPC is made from milk and is not suitable for people with a milk protein allergy.
