A dream-team combination and almost too good to eat!
I could eat this all day, every day! That I’m a complete banana ice-cream addict is no secret anymore, but this combo just makes me want to dive into the jar and never ever come out of it again! All you have to do in advance is pop some peeled and sliced ripe bananas into the freezer the night before and make the chia pudding. It will only take you 10 minutes in the morning to make this jar of goodness!
I’m 100% sure you know what peanut butter is! But you don’t know Maca? Maca powder is a superfood and originally comes from the maca root, which is dried and then processed into a fine powder. It contains a lot of protein, minerals and vitamins and only about a teaspoon a day added to your breakfast, shakes, smoothies or baked goods can support your health. Maca powder has a pretty strong, unique taste that I have loved from the beginning! Give it a try, the more you add it to your banana ice-creams, smoothies and porridges, the better it gets! I’m a complete addict now, haha!
If you’re not yet familiar with maca, you can order it from Bare Blends right HERE! I love it! It's great quality, 100% organic and has real taste!
If you've only had either chia pudding or banana ice-cream but never the combo of them in one - try it now! It simply tastes AH-MAZING! Plus, it’s so healthy, nourishing, and will keep you full for hours and make you happy!

- 2 teaspoon2-3 tsp coconut blossom sugar or pure maple syrup
- 2 super-ripe bananas, in slices, frozen
- 100 millilitremilk of choice, e.g. soy/almond/rice milk

- 1 teaspoonpure vanilla extract or seeds of 1/2 vanilla bean
- 2 teaspoon2-3 tsp coconut blossom sugar or pure maple syrup (if you like it sweet like me).
- 2 handful fresh blueberries
- crushed peanuts
Directions
- Pop the peeled and sliced ripe bananas into the freezer and also make the chia pudding the night before.
- Serve in a bowl and top with some of your favourite ingredients, we used fresh cut strawberries, sliced banana, cacao nibs, freeze dried raspberries, and chopped walnuts.
- Add the chia seeds, milk, vanilla extract and sweetener into a bowl and stir until well combined. Soak in the fridge overnight or for at least two hours.
- Take the frozen banana slices out of the freezer and thaw for a few minutes. Add into a blender/food processor with all the other ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy.
- Stir the chia pudding again to avoid chunks and add into a jar alternately with the banana ice-cream and blueberries to the top. Sprinkle some crushed peanuts or 1 tbsp of your favourite crunchy granola on top and enjoy, enjoy, enjoy! (Use a long spoon to dive all the way to the bottom and get a little bit of everything!)
