As women who love training with weights in the gym, we need to ensure that we are fuelling our bodies with protein throughout the day to help assist in muscle recovery and encourage lean muscle growth.
We have been using Bare Blends since the brand launched in 2012, it is our absolute favourite and part of our everyday routine. Protein helps to heal our muscles after our workouts. Protein is an essential macronutrient and we as women especially need to make sure we are getting enough of it in our daily diets.
We love using the Bare Blends Whey Protein Isolate either in a quick and easy shake post-workout, or if we have more time in a smoothie to ensure we are taking the right steps in helping our bodies heal and grow stronger. Ingredients
- 1 servingBare Whey Protein Isolate
- 1 frozen banana
- 1 pinchcinnamon
- 1 Organic Medjool Dates
- 1 cupcoconut water
Directions
- Blend all of the ingredients in a blender until smooth.
- Pour into bowl or cup and top with your fave crunchy ingredients for texture! We love granola, slivered almonds, chia seeds, coconut flakes and chopped dates, but always mix up our toppings.
