This smoothie takes the classic peanut butter and jam flavours and turns it into a healthy, surprisingly light and delicious breakfast.

Peanut Butter And Chia Jam Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients
- 0.5 cup raspberries
- 1 splash water
- 2 teaspoon Organic Chia Seeds - Organic Chia Seeds
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 3 small frozen bananas
- 1 cup almond milk
- 30 gram Bare Plant Protein or protein of choice - Bare Plant Protein
- 0.25 cup peanut butter
- 0.25 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 0.5 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
- 2 medjool dates, pitted
- 2 teaspoon Organic Reishi Mushroom (optional)
Directions
- 1. Make the chia jam. Add the water, berries and lemon juice to a small saucepan and heat over a low flame. Once the berries begin to soften (1-2 mins) add the chia seeds and cook for approx 3-4 mins, stirring throughout. Turn off heat and allow it to thicken.
- 2. Make smoothie by blending all the ingredients until super smooth. Add the extra milk and blend again if you desire a thinner consistency.
- 3. Once the jam has cooled, divide between two glasses or bows, then top with the smoothie. Enjoy!
