Growing of Sacha Inchi

Processing Of Sacha Inchi
As the fruit begins to ripen on the vine and turn brown, the outer most layer splits to reveal the seeds. The seeds are then left until they are completely dried up and then are hand picked, often up to a few hundred seeds per plant. All the seeds are then sun-dried and completely de-husked.
