The recommended serving size is 30g, which equates to 3 tablespoons. Our serving sizes are an estimate for the average person, however, each individual will have different requirements for their optimal protein intake. You may wish to experiment with the serving size until you find a quantity that suits you. For people consuming protein for weight management, consume 20-30g per serving For athletes aiming to increase lean muscle growth, or participating in strenuous exercise, consume 35g or more.
What is the amino acid profile of whey protein isolate?
Whey protein is one of the few sources that naturally contain all 20 amino acids, making it a complete protein and an ideal source for sports nutrition. It should be an acceptable source of protein during pregnancy for healthy women without dairy allergens. As pregnancy is extremely personalised, we do recommend that prior to taking protein powder, pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult a physician to be sure the protein is right for them.

We do of course recommend a healthy wholefood diet in conjunction with our supplements, and at least a minimal amount of exercise per day so that you can make the most out of our protein and it's lean-muscle building and weight-management attributes.

What liquid do I mix protein powder with?
You can mix our whey or vegan protein with a liquid of your choice! Just shake or blend one serving with either, water, milk, or nut mylk. For best results shake for 10 seconds vigorously.
Whey protein isolate or whey protein concentrate?
In the simplest possible explanation the only difference between the two is the level of lactose and fats. This means that WPC is not suitable for people that are lactose intolerant. Before we go further into the difference it's worth noting the composition of milk protein.
Deciding between WPI or WPC?
WPI goes through one more filtration compared to WPC. This extra step removes almost all of the remaining lactose and fats. Because of this extra filtration most people can tolerant the tiny amount of lactose in WPI. We strongly recommend that if you are lactose intolerant you choose WPI over WPC. Both proteins are high-quality protein sources, ultimately it comes down to your preference.
When is the best time to take protein powder if I want to build muscle?
The best time to consume protein powder for building lean muscle is post-workout. By consuming protein after you exercise you will provide your body with the right amino acids needed to recover and rebuild.
Are protein powders keto-friendly?
Most protein powders would be considered keto-friendly. They are high in protein content and low in carbohydrates and fats. Whey protein isolate contains around 90% protein by dry weight and whey protein concentrate contains around 80% protein by dry weight.
