This smoothie takes the classic peanut butter and jam flavours and turns it into a healthy, surprisingly light and delicious breakfast.
Boosted with omega-3s from the chia seeds and adaptogenic reishi mushroom, this smoothie will provide energy and brain-loving nutrients needed for busy days. It also makes a decadent but guilt-free dessert.

Ingredients
For the raspberry chia jam
- 1/2 cupraspberries
- 1 splash water
- 2 teaspoonOrganic Chia Seeds
- 1 tablespoonlemon juice
For the smoothie
- 3 small frozen bananas
- 1 cupalmond milk
- 30 gramBare Plant Protein or protein of choice
- 1/4 cuppeanut butter
- 1/4 teaspoonground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoonvanilla extract (optional)
- 2 medjool dates, pitted
- 2 teaspoonOrganic Reishi Mushroom (optional)
Directions
- 1. Make the chia jam. Add the water, berries and lemon juice to a small saucepan and heat over a low flame. Once the berries begin to soften (1-2 mins) add the chia seeds and cook for approx 3-4 mins, stirring throughout. Turn off heat and allow it to thicken.
- 2. Make smoothie by blending all the ingredients until super smooth. Add the extra milk and blend again if you desire a thinner consistency.
- 3. Once the jam has cooled, divide between two glasses or bows, then top with the smoothie. Enjoy!
